Family-owned, friendly, traditional
The Hotel St. Georg was built in 1970 by the Porsche family. Since 1999 it has been owned by us. We, Family Sauper, originally come from Carinthia but relocated to the Pinzgauer region in 1998. In summer we can be found at the Kaiser Franz-Josefs-Höhe on the Großglockner as well. Up there, at almost 2,500 meters above sea level, we run the Kaiser Franz-Josef-Haus and the Panorama Restaurant on the end of the Großglockner High Alpine Road. We would be delighted to welcome you up on the mountain too!
Many of our employees have been with us for a long time already. Some of them have been here since the very beginning of the Hotel St. Georg.
